Sweetie and I chose well for our honeymoon. We went to the Grand Rios Hotel and indoor water park. While it's only a block from home, it felt like worlds away. Not to mention it was great to be in a water park without having to worry about sunlight. Sweetie and I switched back and forth between the rides and the hot tub.
They have 2 body slides, one innertube ride and a ride called "the hurricane" but I prefer to think of as the toilet bowl. It's a lot of fun, but you have to be carefull. You go down a short slide to pick up momentum and are then dumped into a big circle that you spin around in until you slow down enough to fall out of the middle into a very deep pool.
We tried to order room service, but the kitchen was out of chicken so we called out for pizza instead. We had leftover wedding cake (lemon tart) for dessert. Then we just enjoyed each other's company (wink) without worrying about the rest of the world.
Now we are back home. Hopefully by Monday, I'll be ready to head back to work.
