   Marinate your housing

Today has been a day for editting.

At work I finished editting 2 forms that our counselors will use in the never ending battle against paper work. Every day the insurance companies come up with some new reason why our paper work (which is done exactly the way they asked us to do it last week) is not acceptible and therefore they won't pay for our services. And everyday we ask them why and change our charting and forms accordingly. We do this knowing full well that tomorrow they will tell us something completely different. Eventually the hospital lawyer will send them a nice letter asking why they haven't paid the bill yet and suddenly the money will appear. In the meantime, I get to create interactive forms in MSWord to try to get all of our paper work looking the way that the insuracne companies want it. I know this is futile. I know it is just a dance and that no matter what I know I'm going to have to go through with it anyway. Sometimes I wonder why I bother and then little gems like this pop up:

5) ability to maintane housing.

But I typed

5) ability to marinate housing.

Actually I think my version is more fun - but insurance companies are not big on fun.

This evening, I've been editing "Of Death and Redemption" And decided to eliminate one of the characters. That means that I have to search through the whole story and everywhere there is mention of her, I have to totally rewrite the scene so that no-one will ever know that she was even there. Oops, now all of you know. But you'll never figure out where she isn't now.

OK maybe I'm going a bit insane.
